OPEN GENRE WORKSHOP with Emily Adrian
6 Weeks | Thursdays, 8pm - 10pm ET (on Zoom) | October 12 - November 16, 2023
$300 | REGISTER

This workshop is for writers of all forms and genres looking for feedback on their works-in-progress. Whether you’re revising a novel, short story, essay, collection of poems, or memoir, bring 10-20 pages of your project to class and receive feedback in a collaborative, supportive environment. We will come together as readers to discuss what’s exciting, compelling, and satisfying about one another’s work, as well as where a piece lags or loses its way. In addition to providing and receiving verbal feedback in class, students will receive extensive written comments from the instructor, as well as reading recommendations tailored to their projects. This class will be most helpful to writers revising their work with a goal of publication.

"Emily's class opened my eyes to so many new ways of thinking about fiction, as a reader and writer. I felt like I got to know the other writers in the class well, which is so rare for an online class, and is entirely thanks to her teaching. And Emily's feedback on my writing was encouraging and insightful. I loved her class so much."
